2. Products & Specifications

Product Nature

We sell bedroom furniture produced by our factory. We do not operate a retail showroom; viewing appointments are available by arrangement only.

Assembly

  • Some products are sold as self-assemble items — assembly is your responsibility unless you pay for our service.
  • We provide basic assistance on delivery for standard setups; any full assembly service will incur a fee.
  • Damage caused by incorrect assembly is not covered by our warranty.

Product Descriptions

Product specifications are shown on each product page. Natural materials (e.g., wood, leather) may vary in colour and grain and such variation is not considered a defect.

3. Ordering & Payment

Pricing

We honour the price shown at checkout at the time you place your order.

Payment Methods

  • PayFast — secure payments by card.
  • EFT — orders are released only after funds reflect in our account.
  • Cash on Delivery (COD) — only within a 30 km radius of Montague Gardens and for orders under R5,000.00.

Lay-by

We offer a 3-month lay-by plan. The product will only be released after final payment. Storage fees may apply if the item is not collected or delivered within 7 days of final payment.

4. Shipping & Delivery

Delivery Area

We currently ship within the Western Cape only.

Delivery Access

It is the Customer's responsibility to ensure furniture will fit through doors, elevators, and staircases. If an item cannot be delivered due to access issues, return and re-delivery fees may apply.

Inspection

Inspect goods on arrival and sign the delivery note only when satisfied. Report visible damage to us within 24 hours or claims may be rejected.

Storage Fees

We hold stock free for 7 days; after that a storage fee of R100.00 will apply for every 3rd day overdue.

5. Returns & Refunds

We accept returns within 7 days of delivery when the item is unused, in original packaging, and in an identical condition to how it was delivered. Returns due to change of mind are at the customer's expense.

Custom Orders

Custom or special order items are non-refundable and non-returnable.

6. Warranties & Guarantees

Warranties cover manufacturing defects only. We may inspect an item or ask it to be returned for assessment — repairs are the preferred remedy where possible.

Exclusions

  • Wear and tear to fabrics, fading from sunlight or improper use.
  • Mattress wear that is within normal tolerances (small impressions).
  • Wood changes due to temperature, humidity, or age.

7. Liability & Safety

Customers are responsible for secure installation (e.g. wall-mounts) and for safe, intended use of the product. Any modifications void warranties.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on the site, including images and copy, remains the property of Morpheus Furniture.

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
