At Morpheus Furniture, we are committed to providing high-quality bedroom furniture. Due to the nature of our products and strict hygiene standards, we enforce a rigorous return policy. Please review the terms below carefully before making your purchase.

1. The 7-Day Return Window

We offer a strict 7-day return period starting from the date the item is delivered to your location or picked up from our factory.

  • If you wish to return an item, you must initiate the request and have the item in transit back to us within this 7-day window.
  • Requests made after 7 days will not be accepted under any circumstances.
  • No Sleep Trials: We do not offer sleep trials on mattresses. The 7-day window applies strictly to the physical condition of the product, not comfort preference.

2. Eligibility & Item Condition

To be eligible for a return, the item must be in pristine, factory condition.

  • Zero Tolerance for Damage: Items found with stains, marks, dents, scratches, odors, or any signs of usage will be rejected immediately.
  • Mattresses: Mattresses must be entirely free of soil, stains, or fluid penetration. If a mattress has been removed from its original packaging, it generally cannot be returned unless it is in absolutely flawless condition.
  • Packaging: We recommend retaining original packaging. If the item is returned without appropriate packaging and is damaged during return transit, the return will be voided.

3. Restocking & Administration Fees (25%)

All returns and refunds are subject to a mandatory 25% deduction.

  • Restocking Fee: A fee of 25% of the total purchase price will be deducted from your refund amount to cover inspection, restocking, and administration.
  • Immediate Refunds/Cancellations: If you request a refund or cancellation before the item has shipped, a 25% administrative fee will still be automatically charged/deducted from the refund.

4. Custom Orders

All Custom Orders are Final Sale.

  • Items that are made-to-order, custom-sized, or upholstered in custom fabrics cannot be returned, exchanged, or refunded at any stage.
  • Once a custom order is placed, it cannot be cancelled without forfeiting the full purchase amount.

5. Shipping Costs & Liability

The client is responsible for 100% of the shipping costs.

  • Return Shipping: The client must arrange and pay for return shipping. Morpheus Furniture does not provide return shipping labels.
  • Original Shipping: Original shipping fees are non-refundable.
  • Third-Party/Own Shipping Liability:
    • If you arrange your own shipping carrier to pick up items from our factory, Morpheus Furniture is released from liability the moment the items leave our facility.
    • If any damages, faults, or marks occur during transit with your chosen carrier, the client is fully liable.
    • Voided Refund: If an item is damaged by your carrier, the refund policy is immediately void, and no refund will be issued.

6. Non-Refundable Items

Certain items are strictly non-refundable. These will be clearly displayed as "Non-Refundable" or "Final Sale" on the specific product details page or relevant invoices. Please check your product specifications prior to checkout.

7. Refund Processing

Once your return is received and inspected:

  1. We will verify that the item is free of stains, marks, and dents.
  2. If approved, we will process your refund to your original method of payment.
  3. The refunded amount will be the Purchase Price minus the 25% Fee. Shipping costs are excluded.

Summary of Refund Calculation

  • Example: You bought a bed for R10,000 + R1,000 Shipping.
  • Calculation: R10,000 (Item) - R2,500 (25% Fee) = R7,500 Refund.
  • Loss to Client: The R1,000 original shipping is not returned, and the client pays for return shipping.
